We are pleased to announce our latest achievement: attaining the Cyber Essentials PLUS certification.
Protecting the security of our customers and stability of our systems is one of our most fundamental aims. The ability of organisations to do this has been put under new scrutiny following the recent cyber attacks, and businesses the country over have a collective responsibility to bolster their defenses.
Our IT department – despite its role as the engine of the business - is rarely mentioned on these pages, so I’m especially glad to be able to announce its latest achievement: attaining the Cyber Essentials PLUS certification.
Cyber Essentials was developed by the UK Government, in consultation with industry, to help businesses significantly reduce their vulnerability to cyber attacks. There are two levels of accreditation and we have achieved the more challenging, Cyber Essentials PLUS, following tests by an external certifying body. It’s a fantastic achievement.
Our IT department is committed to maintaining and building on this certification, and ensuring everyone who works with us can be confident that cyber security is as important to us as it is to them.
