Over the summer CitySprint Health worked with Censuswide to carry out a survey on 350 UK pharmacists working across clinical pharmacies, independent pharmacies and pharmacy chains.

The research shows that 78% of pharmacies are currently offering some kind of delivery service although the time spent carrying out/managing these deliveries takes a pharmacist an average of 11 hours per week. Not only that, 89% of pharmacies that do offer home delivery rely on verbal or written confirmation to monitor the chain of custody and proof of delivery for prescriptions.
